Dr. Khushboo Chawla is an experienced and talented eye surgeon with high professional standards in the management of common diseases of the eye through medical treatment and surgical intervention. She specialises in all types of cataract surgery. Having trained at the top institute, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Delhi, she has conducted 50+ independent vitreo-retinal surgeries for conditions like retinal detachment, vitreous haemorrhage, IOL explants, phacofragmentation for nucleus drops, and endophthalmitis.
Performed over 1000 uneventful independent small incision cataract surgeries (SICS) across various cases, completed 100+ scleral buckling surgeries, 15+ trabeculectomies with MMC/AMG/Ologen implants, 150+ corneal perforation repairs, and 25 canalicular repairs. Additionally, conducted multiple lid laceration repairs on an emergency basis, 90+ secondary IOL implantations, including ACIOL, Iris claw IOL, second sitting PCIOL, and SFIOL implantations, along with 50+ intra-capsular cataract surgeries and 150 pterygium surgeries.
She has more than 15 national and international articles. Presently, Dr. Khushboo is the Visiting Consultant Surgeon at the SRF Eye Hospital, a leading Eye Centre in Delhi with an edge in Retina.
