Beyond Numbers: The Real Impact
Beyond Numbers:
The Real Impact
Accessible Healthcare
By providing quality eye care to those who couldn’t afford it, we fought against preventable blindness and promoted community health.
Empowerment for the Masses
Restoring sight meant restoring livelihoods, reuniting families, and empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Social Inclusion
A clear vision meant reconnecting with loved ones, neighbours, and friends—reducing isolation and building stronger communities and a resilient nation.
Education & Learning
Improved vision opened doors to education, allowing children to read, learn, and dream of brighter futures.
Poverty Alleviation
By preventing blindness, we helped break the cycle of poverty, improving lives and strengthening community bonds.
Healthcare Awareness
Beyond treatment, our camps raised awareness about eye health, promoting early detection and preventive care.
Community Development
Free eye camps foster community engagement, volunteerism, and social responsibility, nurturing a sense of unity and care.
The Diabetic Retinopathy Mitigation Project in East and North-East Delhi may have concluded, but its legacy lives on. Even today, the Sai Retina Foundation continues to organise free eye camps, a testament to our resolution to eradicate preventable blindness and promote eye health across India.
“Every individual we helped wasn’t just a patient—they were part of our family, and their stories of resilience and hope continue to inspire our ongoing efforts and future initiatives.”
